Now with the addition of an active cooling fan, the SLF-1 has improved performance while still mainting a low profile to fit where space is limited.  As a result, the SLF-1 is the perfect replacement for stock passive cooler that does not provide adequate cooling when performance is needed. The SLF-1 can also be used for some VGA applications.
