Description:
The motherboard chipset can usually be cooled passively
under normal conditions. However, in overclocked systems, the stock cooler on
the chipset may not be enough to handle the rise in temperature from the extra
heat. Furthermore, in extreme overclocking situations that require watercooling,
extra chipset cooling is even more evident; especially since these setups
provide little if any airflow inside a case. The solution? Add a Danger Den Maze
4 chipset block to your watercooled setup to relieve your worries.
The Danger Den Maze 4 chipset block will mount on boards with Center to
Center Loop distances of 1.9" x 2.4" - 4 Loops (48.3mm x 61mm) and
is recommended by many based on its performance and low pressure drop.
Features:
• Code: M4CHIPINTEL
• Mounts on boards with Center to Center Loop distances of 1.9" x 2.4" - 4 Loops
(48.3mm x 61mm)
• Complete Block Assembled with Top and O-ring
• 100% Copper 110
• High Flow 1/2" Chrome Fittings
• Stainless Steel hold down
• Machine-lapped and polished beyond 1200 grit
• Pressure tested before shipment to 85psi
• Lucite Top
Note:
The springs provide about 5 lbs of force each (apporx 20lbs total force). Based
on measurements by Danger Den this meets/slightly exceeds the heat sink mounts.
Danger Den does recommend a partial epoxy mix to prevent any movement or loop
damage.
